MRS. MINNIE LAUKUS
Niles, Dec 28 --Mrs. MINNIE E LAUKUS, 73 of 2264 North Fifth street, died at 2am Sunday at her home. She had been ill for some time.
Mrs. Laukus was born in Germany in July 4, 1881, and had resided in this vicinity for many years.
Survivors include two sons, ERWIN LAUKUS of San Diego and HARRY LAUKUS of Edwardsburg; four daughters, MRS. WILLIAM JESCHKE, of Niles, MRS. SAM HERMAN, of Benton Harbor, MISS DOROTHY LAUKUS, at home, and MRS. ROBERT KACHUR, of Niles; 8 grandchildren, and 3 sisters, MRS. GUS FROELICH of Sodus, MRS. EMIL MICHAEL and MRS. LYDIA SUMMERS of Benton Harbor.
Friends may call at the Pifer funeral home until Wednesday noon when the body will be taken to St. John’s Evangelical and Reformed church for services at 2pm. The pastor, The Rev. Herbert Muessling, will officiate.
Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery.
