Nina "Pearl" Moore Parrish was born July 2,1910 in Joetown, Marion County, West Virginia to Riley R. & Victoria V. Bennett Moore. She was one of nine siblings including, Delbert Moore, Walter Moore, Edward Moore, Paul Moore, Lennie Moore, Gypsy Amos, Bonnie Ice & Madeline Hall. Pearl married Edward Daniel Lee Parrish of Mannington, West Virginia in 1925. They lived at Warriors Fork, Mannington, West Virginia till about 1950's, moving to Baltimore, Maryland. They had two children, Nola Aldean Parrish & William Parrish. Pearl Parrish died June 18, 1960 in Baltimore, Maryland. She was buried in the View Point Cemetery, Rachel, Marion County, West Virginia.
