Gibson City, Jan 2 - Mrs Mary Sample, 59, wife of John E Sample, died at her home on South State Street, Monday morning following a week's illness of influenza which was followed by pneumonia.
She was born Oct 10, 1869 and was married to Mr Sample about 40 years ago.
The family made their home at Fisher for many years, coming to Gibson City about three years ago.
Survived by her husband and two sons:
Clarence Sample and Arthur Sample of Gibson City.
Two daughters:
Mrs Cora Mulvain of Foosland and Mrs Amy Elkins of Shepherd, MI.
Burial in Glen Cemetery at Paxton.
