FULLERTON (Special Dispatch) Mrs. Frank (Emma Lee) Lay, lifetime resident of Fullerton, died Saturday after having been a patient in the Fullerton Memorial Hospital for two months. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Fullerton Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Carl Dooley of the Palmer Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Sunset Cemetery at Cedar Rapids.
She was born Jan. 20, 1885, at Carrolton, Ky., to William Thomas and Nancy Casey Herron. She was married to Frank Lay on June 13, 1903, in Fullerton. Her husband died in 1951 and a son also preceded her in death.
She is survived by a son, Lawrence W. of Millard; two daughters, Mrs. Claud (Lois) Barr of Westminster, Calif. and Mrs. Leonard (Thelma) Barr of Council Bluffs, Iowa; 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
