Rosie Bell Porter Crawford, age 87 of 200 Miracle Mile Drive, wife of the late William Thomas Crawford, died Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at the Rainey Hospice House.Born in Anderson, SC on July 19, 1923, Mrs. Crawford was the daughter of the late Lila Pelfrey Porter. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.Survivors include her daughters, Nancy Joan Dobbins of Iva and Mary Faye Vickery of Anderson; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.She was predeceased by a daughter, Virginia Gail Pearson and a great-granddaughter, Jody McClain.The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 15, 2010 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by Pastor E. Howard Steen. Interment will follow in New Silver Brook Cemetery.The family will be at the home of her granddaughter, Annette Sizemore, 107 Queen Drive, Anderson, SC and will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 pm until 2:30 pm.
