"Peter Brakey, Ex-Lorain Man, to be buried here."
A former employee at the Lorain yards of the American Shipbuilding Co., until 10 years ago, Peter Brakey, 68, died suddenly at his home in Detroit Monday afternoon.
Surviving are two sons, Peter, Jr., and John; three daughters, Mrs. Glenn Aberill(sic), Mrs. Allen Mallott, and Mrs. Larry Berquist, all of Detroit; two brothers and two sisters in Scotland. Six grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Reidy and Scanlan funeral parlors with Rev. James H. Lawther, pastor of the First Presbyterian church officiating. Internment will be in the family lot in Elmwood cemetery.
