He was born March 9, 1908 in the town of Washington, the son of Henry and Emma (Meyer) Hahn.
On Oct. 12, 1930 he was united in marriage to the former Helen D. Leutkens. The couple farmed in the town of Washington for many years until retiring to Reedsburg in 1980.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Loganville, where he served on the church council for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Helen, two daughters. Lavice (Sam) Nicosia, Forest Park IL, and Laveta (Larry) Lesniak, Madison; two grand sons Jim (Shelly) Lesniak and Neil Lesniak; two sisters-in-law, Florence Hahn, Reedsburg and Vernice Hahn, Reedsburg, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
