Funeral services for Amos McLemore, 87, who died Tuesday at a local Hospital; were held Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. at the Hebron Methodist Church with the Revs. Jimmy Lowery and J. W. McCall officiating. Burial was in the Hebron Cemetery.
A resident of the Hebron community for the past 63 years, he made his home with his son, T. A. McLemore, Route 2, Taylorsville. He was a retired farmer and a member of Hebron Methodist Church.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Amanda Suggs, Hattiesburg; Mrs. Stella Sumrall, Moss Point; two sons, A. H. McLemore, Mobile, Ala.; and T. A. McLemore, Route 2, Taylorsville; 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Thompson’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
