Ben H. Carr, 69, Piney Flats, died Sunday at 8 a. m. in a Johnson City Hospital.

Survivors include the wife, Nona MInnick Carr; two sons, George R. Carr, Kingsport, William H. Carr. Arlington, Va.; one daughter Mrs. Robert Little, Johnson City; two brothers, M. F. Carr, Piney Flats and B. O. Carr, Chesapeake, O.; one sister, Mrs. Byron [Mae] Rutledge, Piney Flats; four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Piney Flats Union Church. The Rev. Sam N. Varnell and the Rev. Carl Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery,

Pallbearer, will be Harry Blalock, Earl Trivette, Horner Ward, Thurman Shell, J. B. Snapp Jr., Sam Wolfe Jr., Bill Dalton and Howard King.

The body will be taken to the residence at 4 p.m: today from Kiser Funeral Home.
