Claud Lee Jones, 74, died Nov. 30, 1985 in West Valley City.
Born Sept. 23, 1911 in Enoch, Utah to Daniel Lee and Gwendola Wood Jones. Married Iris Martineau Jan. 3, 1939 in Cedar City; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple April, 1964. Followed the building trade, 1943 until retirement. Built several homes and remodeled many for friends and neighbors in Enterprise. Worked mostly in large construction jobs in Salt Lake area.
Survived by his wife of Kearns; children, Mrs. Thomas (Kathleen) Hoover of Kearns, Rulon L. and Lynda of Kearns, Bryce of Olympia, Wash.; David L. and Sherri of Sedalia, Missouri; Jack L. and Diane of South Jordan; Thouis E. and Shauna of Kearns, Garvin W. and Joy, Daniel Claud, Brian T. and Linda, all of Salt Lake City; Jewell Beatty of West Valley City; 27 grandchildren, five great-grandcihldren; two sisters, two brothers, Rula Martineau of Ogden, Gwen Plaisted of Green River, Wyom., Chester of Enterprise and Jesse.
Funeral service Thursday, 9 a.m., Kearns 14th Ward, 4232 West 5015 South. Friends may call Wednesday, 6-8 p.m., Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 So. Redwood Rd., and Thursday one half hour prior to service at the church. Burial Enterprise City Cemetery.
