Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 o'clock Monday afternoon in the Newark Christian church for Andrew Thomas Nelson, 80, who died Saturday morning at his home in Newark. Burial was at Mt. Salem.
With the exception of one year spent in Shelbina, he had lived his entire life in the community in which he died.
He is survived by his wife and five children, two of whom are Mrs. Bernice Myers of Shelbina and Mrs. Mabel Kimbal of near Maud; two brothers, one sister, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
