A Mechanical Engineer for forty-three years who retired from Southern California Edison, Daniel is survived by his daughter Jennifer Lynne Higgins; sons Matthew Blake Higgins and Christopher Ryan Higgins; daughter Kimberly Anne Higgins; daughter-in-law Maria Higgins; sister Joanne Hayfield; grandson Hunter Gregory Higgins-Corona; and granddaughter Emma Sophia Escutia.

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 15, 2010 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at O'Connor Mortuary, 25301 Alicia Parkway, Laguna Hills, CA. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 12:00 p.m., with a viewing prior to the services from 11:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., both in Saddleback Church (Tent 2), 1 Saddleback Parkway, Lake Forest, CA.
Burial will follow in El Toro Memorial Park, Lake Forest, CA.
