JUDGE WRIGHT DIES.
The many local friends of Judge Wright will be grieved to learn of the old
Bisbeeite's death, which occurred in Globe at the home of his son (sic), Harry
Barkdoll, superintendent of the Old Dominion Copper Company last Saturday.
Judge Wright was one of the first justices of the peace in Bisbee and
established an enviable reputation for his good deeds and fair acts. Besides
Mrs. Barkdoll there survives Judge Wright two sons, both of whom live in Bisbee,
Thomas Wright and Frank Wright.

J.W. Wright, father of Mrs. Barkdoll, wife of J.H. Barkdoll, mine superintendent for the Old Dominion Copper company, died at the family residence last Friday night. Mr. Wright had enjoyed fairly good health up to within a few days of his death, which is ascribed to old age, deceased having passed his eighty-third birthday. Mr. Wright formerly resided at Bisbee, and came to Globe three years ago with Mr. and Mrs. Barkdoll, when the former was appointed superintendent of the Old Dominion mine. Mr. Barkdoll was in California when advised of Mr. Wright's failing health and started immediately on his return to Globe, arriving home last night. Interment of Mr. Wright's remains will be in the Globe cemetery, announcement of the date for the funeral to be made later.
