John's occupation was Button & Tool Maker. After the First World War he established the Wintermeyer Glue Factory.
John married Matilda Bauer (1862-1941) on October 05, 1886 in Berlin (Kitchener), Ontario. Marriage Register #011818.
They had 2 children, Alfred Carl (1888-1974) and Matilda Marie (1903-1996).
He died of Bronchial Pneumonia on October 31, 1932 in Kitchener, Ontario. Death Certificate #034418.
John was buried on November 02, 1932 in the Wintermeyer Family Plot in Mount Hope Cemetery in Kitchener.
