Knowlton Allen, 67, of Seattle, Wash., died Wednesday after a short illness. He was a native of Screven County and had lived in Seattle for 10 years. He was a retired Merchant Marine and World War II Navy veteran.
Survivors include a sister, Aileen Allen, Savannah; and three brothers, O. D. Allen, Pooler, Cletis Allen, Statesboro, and Casaby Allen, Ladson, S. C.
The funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Massey Chapel Funeral Home chapel in Garden City. Burial will be in Brooklet City Cemetery.
