Minnie Lee Wilson was the daughter of Green Wilson and L.A. (Alice) Wickes Wilson. She married Luther Thomas Davenport Sr. in Blytheville, Arkansas on August 4, 1913.
She died of the Spanish Flu during the worldwide pandemic of influenza in 1918 just 3 weeks after giving birth to her daughter Alta Naoma.
Minnie received many postcards and photos of various people including Grandma Ellen Bissell who is buried in Blytheville, Arkansas. We have no idea who these people were, but Minnie kept each and every postcard and photo so they must have been important people in her short life. That makes these people important to us as well. We still have these postcards and photos today.
We know very little about her and her family. Minnie died leaving 3 young children without their mother. She will always and forever be our beautiful Minnie.
