Funeral services for Mrs. W. M. Atkinson were conducted Monday afternoon at the First Baptist Church, Rev. W. Neil Record, pastor, officiated. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery under direction of Wallace Funeral Home. Mrs. Atkinson died Friday night in a Plainview convalescent home where she was taken about 10 days ago. Sarah Louise Morris was born November 29, 1868 in Tennessee. She was the daughter of James Pat and Sarah Morris. She was married to W. M. ATKINSON in 1899 in Coryell County,Texas. They were the parents of one daughter, Winnie Mae, who died August 20, 1950. The family moved to the plains in 1907. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Kirk Garrett, Ewell Grigg, Allan Heard, Jim Hale, C. L. Franks and John Ballenger.
