Third Member of Family Dies of Pneumonia During Last Two Weeks
Funeral services for Mrs. E. P. Grimsley, 73 years old, of Lancaster, will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon in the Fultonham M. E. church, with Rev. Mr. Harden officiating. The body will be taken to the church at 1 o'clock in the afternoon and will lie in state until time of service. Burial will be made at Fultonham.
Mrs. Grimsley died of pneumonia Friday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. Frank McLain, Fultonham, with whom she had been spending the winter.
Her husband died of pneumonia last Sunday, while his sister, Miss Belle Grimsley was a victim of pneumonia one week before at Fultonham.
Mr. and Mrs. Grimsley had cared for the former's sister during her illness, and both took seriously ill shortly after Miss Grimsley's death.
Mr. and Mrs. Grimsley were former residents of the Fultonham vicinity, but in recent years had lived at Lancaster where Mr. Grimsley was superintendent of the Lancaster camp grounds.
Surviving are the daughter, at whose home she died, and two sons, Forrest Roberts, Columbus, and E. Marion Roberts, of Brockton, Mass., two brothers, John W. Weller, East Fultonham, and Charles E. Weller, of Kansas, and seven grandchildren.
She was a member of the First M. E. church at Lancaster and formerly was identified with the Fultonham M. E. church.
The body will be taken to the home of the daughter Sunday morning from the Thompson & Son funeral home.
