MEMPHIS, Mo. — Ida Maude Mathes, 94, of Memphis died at 2:53 p.m. in Scotland County Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Mathes was born Aug. 26, 1894, in Scotland County, a daughter of Thomas and Alice Cone McWilliams [sic]. She married Carl Mathes on Sept. 1, 1915 [sic].
Mrs. Mathes was a member of the Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church and spent most of her life on a farm north of Memphis.
Survivors include two daughters, Madeline Kratzer of Memphis and Mrs. Ann Houghland of Bloomfield, Iowa; and a son, Carl Thomas Mathes of Rock Island, Ill. Mrs. Mathes was preceded in death by three sisters.
Services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Payne-Gerth Chapel in Memphis by the Rev. Clifford Horton. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, northwest of Memphis.
Memorials may be made to the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
