Hello, I have a memorial for Albert's son that died of Typhoid Fever. In looking for more information on his death, I found this information for Albert and his 2 wives:

1st wife:
Viola Drury 1860 – 1878
Married October 16, 1877 in Hamilton, Hamilton Co., Texas

CHILD BY ALBERT AND VIOLA (she died in childbirth with him):
William Drury Bennett 1878 – 1952

Albert Bennett and Tom Shaw were life long friends both in Texas and Wyoming. Albert came with Tom to Wyoming driving a herd of cattle from Galveston to the Glendo, Platte County, Wyoming area. They both worked for the Duck Bar ranch before starting their own outfits. Albert returned to Texas for the winter of 1880 where he was counted in the census on his fathers ranch along with his young son William, who was being raised by his parents after his wife Viola had died in child birth. He returned to Texas in 1888 to marry Millie Armstrong and stayed in Texas till 1916 when he moved back to Glendo, Wyo. to homestead next to his brothers George and Charles Bennett.

Thank you for including this interesting history, and the first wife.
