EUREKA, IL - Phyllis M. Bachman, 73, of Eureka, Ill., passed away at 12:20 a.m. on Monday, July 12, 2010, at the Apostolic Christian Home in Eureka, where she was a resident.

She was born on Oct. 5, 1936, in Peoria, Ill., a daughter of Glenn and Maona Nafziger Schrock. She married Willis Bachman on Oct. 14, 1955, in Washington, Ill. He survives.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one nephew.

Phyllis was a homemaker.

She was a member of Metamora Mennonite Church, where a memorial service will be held at 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday, July 14, 2010. The church pastoral team will officiate. Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. at the church before the service. Private family burial will precede the service. Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka is handling the arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the Peoria Rescue Mission or the Rock Creek Bible Church Building Fund in Congerville, Ill.
