Professional Football Player. He was the elusive Oklahoma University halfback who won the 1952 Heisman Trophy. He was also named a 1952 All-American. A leg injury ended his brief professional career with the Baltimore Colts and the Canadian Football League. He is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame.
