Mary Ellen McGuffin 82, of Umatilla, passed away in Tavares on Saturday, October 9, 2010. She was born December 11, 1927 in Morgantown, West Virginia and moved here from Virginia Beach, Virginia in 1982. She was a retired collection agent, a graduate of St. Francis de Sales Central Catholic High School of Morgantown, West Virginia, and an active member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Mount Dora.



She is survived by her husband of 33 years Andrew, her children; Theresa C. Swain of Middletown, Indiana, Rory Daily of Westminster, South Carolina and Kathy Lynn Mackowiak of Jacksonville, Florida, six step children, a sister, Gene Paugh of Morgantown, West Virginia, fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.



Memorial services will be held in the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 18440 U.S. Highway 441, Mount Dora, at 10 AM Friday, October 15, with Pastor Michael Coe officiating. Traditional committal services will follow immediately in Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis. The family requests those desiring direct memorials to her Church.
