Tony Person, 76 Route 2, a Wenatchee area resident for the past 33 years, died in a local hospital early Wednesday morning.
Born in Violet Hill, AR., Jan. 11 1900, he was married there to Elva Fleming Dec. 12 1920. He operated a grocery store in Franklin, AR. In 1943 the family came to Wenatchee.
Mr. Pierson was employed by Cedergreen Foods and later by Wenoka Growers. Since 1965 he owned and operated the Monitor Drive-in Market.
He attended the Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife at home; a daughter and son-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Bill R. (Uvanghn) Sherrell , Monitor; a brother, N.J. Pierson, Oklahoma City, OK; a sister, Mrs. Cassie Yancey, Evening Shade, AR., and a half sister, Mrs. Bamie Mason, Galt, CA.
Services are announced by the Jones and Jones Funeral Home.
