Flight Lieutenant John Cedric Railton, Royal Naval Air Service was the son of Charles Withington Railton and Charlotte Elizabeth Railton nee Sharman. He was drowned whilst on active service and laid to rest at Penzance Cemetery aged 27

John was entitled to be awarded the British War, Victory and Star medals and following the Great War his family would have been sent the Memorial Death Plaque of WW1.

Commemorated in perpetuity by Commonwealth War Graves Commission.
