Seldon Caskey died in Jacksonville, May 8, 1940. Funeral services were held at Richland church, May 10, conducted by Rev. Guy Homes of Cowden. Mr. Caskey of Tower Hill was born Sep. 15, 1866, to Sampson and Mercy Hopkins Caskey. He was united in marriage to Miss Allie Green, Oct. 17, 1895. She departed this life, Jan. 27, 1940. To this union were born three sons. Howard of Arlington, VA and George E. of Tower Hill survive. Glen S. preceded his parents in death Aug. 22, 1937. A foster daughter, Mrs. L. W. Cheatham of Madison, IL survives; also two brothers, Charles A. of Clinton, MO and Luther S. of Burlington, CO and many nephews and nieces.
