John S. Pulvermacher, age 85, passed way Thursday, October 8, 1998 at a Sun Prairie nursing home. He was born August 29, 1913 in Plain, WI, the son of Matt and Anna (Bindle) Pulvermacher. John farmed for many years and was also employed with Oscar Mayer for 25 years. He enjoyed fishing and playing cards with his friends. Survivors include his wife, Leona of DeForest; a son, Steven of Portage; a daughter, Linda (Donald) Hart of Alexandria, LA; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, three sisters and two brothers. He.was preceded in death by a son; his parents, five brothers and two sisters. According to John's wishes, there will be private family service. WSJ 10/10/1998
∼John Pulvermacher married Leona Barrette on Sept. 18, 1942. He was the father of Kenny, Linda and Steve.
