COOPER Gladys Molene Weir formerly of Cooper died Sunday July 4 at St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, at the Tira Methodist Church with Johnny Johnston officiating. Delta Funeral Home will make burial in the Tira Cemtery.
Mrs. Weir was born in Birthright on August 21, 1909, a daughter of Mack Henry and Ada Belle Dykes Palmer. She married J.E. (Jake) Weir on Aug 12, 1964. He died March 20, 1986.
Surviving are a son Wendall Williams of Amarillo; one daughter Anita Patton of Sacramento, Calif.; a sister Alva Wattenburger of Sulphur Springs; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
