Carol June (Dykes) "Cherokee" Stafford, 58, Willard, passed away Sept. 13, 2007. She was a graduate of Crane High School and a homemaker. Cherokee enjoyed fishing, camping and karaoke. On Dec. 29, 1994, she married Lyndell Stafford. Survivors include her husband; parents, Charles and Mildred Dykes; son, Jimmy Thomas; granddaughter, Bailey Thomas; one brother; and three sisters. Gravedside services will be 10 a.m. Tues., Sept. 18 at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, 5201 S. Southwood Rod., Springfield (off Evans Rd. by Springfield Lake).
