Gus Blessman, a carpenter, 29th St. and
Greeley Ave., Kansas side, fell 50 feet to the bottom of a condenser well at the
new plant of the Kansas City Light and Power Company, late yesterday. He died in
an ambulance on the way to St. Joseph Hospital. Blessman was working on an
engine foundation. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alice M. Blessman; five
sons, Charles Blessman, with the American Expeditionary Forces in France, and
Everett, Harvey, Ira and Roy Blessman, of the home address; two daughters, of
the home address; two daughters, Helen May and Lottie Emma Blessman of the home
address, and his mother, Mrs. Johanna Blessman,1961 N. 27th St., Kansas side.
Funeral services tomorrow afternoon with burial in Quindaro Cemetery. (KC Star,
