Services for Herman E. Grant, Sr., 91, of Archibald, LA will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at Cedar Baptist Church, Archibald, LA with Rev. Mike Loveday officiating. Interment will follow in Lynn Cemetery, Archibald, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.
Herman was born August 9, 1919 in Archibald, LA and passed away Saturday, October 9, 2010 in Rayville, LA.
Mr. Grant was a charter member of Cedar Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtlene Eppinette Grant; brother, Wilbur Grant; and parents, Edward and Lucy Grant.
Survivors include his son, Herman Grant, Jr. and wife, Camilla of Rayville; sister, Gloria Grant of Rayville; granddaughter, Amy Green and husband, Ryan of Normal, IL; great grandson, Austin Schillage of Normal, IL; a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Rhett Gable, Scott Allen, Horace Eppinette, Johnny Burson, Lee Booth, Jr., and Winston Gable.
Honorary pallbearers are Bob Sharbono, Jerry Ray Roberts, Carl Gray, and Grant Hill.
