Nina M. Truitt

Nina Mae Truitt, 84, of 316 South Osteopathy, died Tuesday afternoon (February 18, 1992) at the Kirksville Osteopathic Medical Center, Kirksville, Missouri.

She was born on January 3, 1908 in Kirksville, Missouri the daughter of Harley and Lora Griffith Conley. In 1941, in Kirksville, she married Herbert H. Truitt who preceded her in death on April 25, 1987. She was also preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and one brother.

She is survived by a sister-in-law, Esther Conley of Columbia, Missouri; two nephews, Billie Bob Herrick of Kansas City, Missouri, and Dan Williams of Chicago, Illinois; and two nieces, Janet Gushleff of Columbia, Missouri and Phyllis Cadden of Murrieta, California.

Mrs. Truitt was raised in Kirksville where she spent her entire life. She was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church of Kirksville, Missouri.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday (February 22, 1992) at the Maple Hills Cemetery, Kirksville, Missouri with the Reverend Lynn R. Beck officiating.

Visitation will be all day Friday (February 21, 1992) and until time of service at the Davis-Playle Funeral Home.
