October 1974-July 1976, Activated & Commanded 2nd Ranger
Battalion, Ft. Lewis, Wash.
July 1978-March 1980, Commander of Special Forces in Europe
& Military Community Commander, Bad Tolz, Germany.

Medals: Silver Star, Bronze Star w/Clusters, Air Medal w/OLC
Army Commendation Medal w/2 OLC, Meritous Service Medal. Distinguished Service Medal (Awarded post-humously).
