Thomas Michael Kellerman, age 66, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2015 at 4:01 p.m. in his home.

Thomas was born on April 6, 1949 in DuQuoin, IL, a son to Paul Gilbert and Elizabeth Frances (Stern) Kellerman. He was employed at Kellerman Feed Store and previously at Five Star Industries. He was a member of St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, IL, St. Bruno Knights of Columbus Council 2921, Pinckneyville, IL, American Thresherman Association, a lifetime member of the Perry County Sportsmen Club and served as an usher at his church. Thomas loved music, especially polka music. He played drums in a polka band and liked to be referred to as the “polka drum boy”. He also played the accordion and enjoyed collecting toy tractors. His pride and joy was his International Farmall 140 tractor.

Survivors include his brother, Paul E. (Maryann) Kellerman of Nashville, IL; two sisters, Mary (Bob) Giacomo of Pinckneyville, IL and Rita (Richard) Hagans of Worden, IL; a brother-in-law, Leo Schmidt of Nashville, IL; thirteen nieces and nephews, David Schmidt, Donald (Lori) Schmidt, Danny (Tina) Schmidt, Janet (Kevin) Seyler, Cynthia (Steve) Jaworski, Josh (Beth) Giacomo, Sarah (Keith) Shasteen, Laura Giacomo, Joe Giacomo, Tim (Malinda) Kellerman, Paula (Corey) Dintelman, Alex Hagans and Kathryn Hagans; and many other relatives and close friends, especially his special friend, Frances Kirkpatrick.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Kay Schmidt; and two brothers, David Kellerman and Phillip Kellerman.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, IL with Father Augustine Ibezimako and Father Ben Stern officiating. Interment will be in St. Bruno Catholic Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL.

Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday morning from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. A prayer service will be held on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m.

Memorials may be made to Masses or St. Bruno Church Roof Fund.
