Mrs. August Heller, 73, died at her home in Bangor Tuesday at 11 a. m., after a lingering illness.
Bertha Christina Young was born March 18, 1867 in Brown's Valley, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Young. She was united in marriage to August Heller March 4, 1889. For 24 years they resided on a farm in Brown's Valley. On March 4, 1913 they moved to Bangor, built their present home and have lived there ever since. She was a member of St Paul's Lutheran Ladies' Aid.
Surviving are her husband; on daughter, Mrs. Franklin Craig; two grandchildren La Vonne and Herbert Craig; three sisters, Mrs. Andrew Wadel of Burns, Mrs. Mary Young of Bangor, Mrs. Henry Fisher of Burr Oak; and two brothers, George Young of Brown's Valley, and Gust Young of Burns.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:45 p. m. from the home and at 2 p. m. from the Lutheran church. Interment will be in Burns cemetery, the Rev. C. W. Siegler officiating.
