Hazel M. Craig
BANGOR, Wis. - Hazel M. Craig, age 94 years, formerly of Bangor, Wisconsin, died Thursday, January 2, 1997at the Mulder Health Care Facility in West Salem, where she was a resident.
She was born January 27, 1902, in Mindoro, Wisconsin, to August and Bertha (Young) Heller. She married Franklin C. Craig on October 5, 1921, in Bangor, Wisconsin, and he preceded her in death in 1974. Hazel was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Ladies Aid, and a charter member of the Striped School Homemakers Club.
She is survived by one daughter, La Vone (Leonard) Manke of Bangor; three grandsons, Steven Craig, William Craig and Todd Manke; five great-grandchildren; and one daughter-in-law, Connie Greenly of West Salem. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Herbert.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 6, 1997, at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Bangor. Rev. Roy Hefti will officiate. Burial will be in the Burns Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Fossum Funeral Home in Bangor, from 6 till 8 p.m. on Sunday, and at the church on Monday from 10 a.m. till time of services.
