Robert P. Winkler - beloved husband, father, and friend was born in Spokane on August 28, 1930. Bob was taken from us on August 31, 2003, when he passed away in his home with his family by his side. As a young boy, Bob attended St. Aloysius and Gonzaga Preparatory Schools. He proudly served in the U. S. Navy during the Korean War aboard the U. S. S. Watts. Bob was President of Wm. Winkler Concrete Co. when he retired in 1996.

He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Cheryl; son, Richard Paul (Rick) Winkler; daughters Rhonda Griffith, Deborah Winkler, Roberta (Robbie) Rae Buehler and husband, Carl; stepson, John Collins and wife, Jennifer; stepdaughters Jeannette Curtis, and Karen Collins. Bob had 13 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.
