Died 5:15 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, 1988, at Acadian House. She was 84, a native of Ascension Parish and resident of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Welsh Funeral Home, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday. Private religious services Monday, conducted by the Rev. Perry F. Webb Jr. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Eva Linton and Walter B. Calhoun, Baton Rouge; two sisters, Myra Roddy Rouzan, Baker,and Mrs. David F. (Oma) Hatchell, Denham Springs; two granddaughters,Mrs. George E. (Suzanne) White Jr., New Orleans, and Mai Fran Calhoun,Baton Rouge; a stepsister, Mrs. Frances Graphia, Hammond; two great-granddaughters, Katherine Ann and Christine Renee White, both of New Orleans; and three great-grandsons, Judson, Williamand Thomas Eldredge, all of Baton Rouge. Preceded in death by husband, Paul Lionel Thibodeaux; parents, Edward Robert and Geneva "Eva" Achord Roddy; a brother, Eddie Jackson Roddy; and two stepsisters, Lessie Roddy Smith and Mattie Roddy Dahmer. She wasa member of First Baptist Church.
