OBITUARY APPEARED FRIDAY, AUGUST 05, 1938: Pg 4, Trenton Evening Times, Trenton, Mercer Co., NJ. MRS. SARAH A. ROOK; NEWTOWN, Aug. 5 -- Mrs. Sarah A. Rook, 77, died yesterday of a heart attack at her home at 28 Liberty Street. She was the widow of John Rook and daughter of the late Hutchinson Girton and a life-long resident of Newton. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. David Krusen, of Newtown; Miss Lillian Girton who lives in Montgomery County and a brother, Howell Girton of Nebraska. Funeral services will be conducted at her home tomorrow afternoon at 2 oclock. Services will be in charge of the Rev. Carl R. Hammerly, pastor of the Methodist Church. Friends may call this evening from 7 to 9. Interment will be in Newtown Cemetery under direction of Stacy B. Brown.
