Parker, James Francis, 14, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ May 31, 2008. He leaves behind his parents, Ann and Jonathon; siblings Benjamin, Margaret and Sam; grandparents Mary Ann and Mike Whalen and Carol and Glyn Parker; uncles, Patrick Whalen (Janice), Michael Whalen (Kate), Frank Whalen (Rita) and numerous cousins and extended family. James was born September 26, 1993 in Gig Harbor, Wash., and moved to the Tampa area in 2004. James graduated as valedictorian from Incarnation Catholic School, 8th grade, in 2007, and had just completed his freshman year at Jesuit High School, where he lettered in swimming. James was also an honor student and a member of the Key Club. James swam for the Berkeley Barracudas. He was a member of Incarnation Catholic Church and was an altar server. Visitation will take place 6-8 pm Tuesday, June 3, 2008, at Incarnation Catholic Church in Tampa, with the funeral mass 10 a.m. Wednesday June 4, 2008, also at Incarnation Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens.
