Obituary: New Holstein (WI) Reporter, Thurs. Apr. 2, 1987, p. 13:1 and Fond du Lac (WI) Reporter, Mar. 26, 1987, p. 24. Alfred B. (Fritz) Kohlmann, 48, of Route 1, Mount Calvary, died March 25, 1987, of a heart attack while driving his car at Eden. He was born Dec. 9, 1938, in the Town of Forest, Fond du Lac County, the son of August Kohlmann and the late Anna Loehr Kohlmann. He attended St. Michael Catholic Grade School, Dotyville. On Sept. 26, 1959, he was married to Dolores Schrauth at St. Martin Catholic Church, Ashford. Mr. Kohlmann farmed in the Town of Forest for the past 18 years. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Dotyville, and its Holy Name Society. Survivors include his wife; his father of Route 1, Mount Calvary; four sons, Daniel of Fond du Lac and Kevin, Tim and Tom, at home; five daughters, Mrs. John (Cindy) Benzing III of Campbellsport, Mrs. Steve (Nancy) Schmitz of Route 1, Mount Calvary, Mrs. Scott (Roseann) Schumacher of Lomira and Susette and Debbie, at home; five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Gerald (Catherine) Kulow of Elkhart Lake and Mrs. Delmar (Anna Mae) Entringer of Route 1, Glenbeulah; and two brothers, Eugene and Joseph of Route 1, Mount Calvary. Mr. Kohlmann was preceded in death by a brother, a sister and a granddaughter. A funeral Mass was celebrate Saturday at St. Michael Catholic Church, Dotyville. The Rev. Wayne Barta, pastor, was the celebrant. Family rites were held at Huss Funeral Home, St. Cloud. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
