A funeral service for M.C. Mora, 88, will be Monday, October 11, 2010 at 10 a.m. at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel with Father Joseph Lourdusamy of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church/Our Lady of Lourdes officiating. Interment will be at Mountain Cemetery in Nacogdoches, Texas. M.C. Mora died on October 8, 2010 in Nacogdoches, Texas. He was born April 21, 1922 in Attoyac, Texas, to parents Philip Loy and Lillie Heirnomus Mora. M.C. proudly served our country during WWII, as a Machinist's Mate First Class for the Navy Sea Bees. His equipment training in the military attributed to his career in the construction business. M.C. Mora Construction Company was created in 1958. He then retired in 1987. He loved the outdoors, hunting quail, roping calves, and country and western dancing. M.C. took great satisfaction in helping others. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his friends. He will be greatly missed by all of those who knew him. M.C. Mora is survived by his sons: Philip Youngblood of Nacogdoches, Texas, James Mora of Irving, Texas, Roger Mora and wife, Velvet, of Weatherford, Texas, grand children; Julianna Viertel and husband Dustin, of Waco, Texas, Stephanie Wall, and husband David, of North Canton, Ohio, Elizabeth Mora, Marissa Mora, Macy Mora, and four great -grand children, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is proceeded in death by his parents, sisters; Mary "Josephine" Wall, Norma Marie Mora Molandes, and Marion Mora, and grandson Joshua Mora. Pallbearers are Loy Rodgers, Leven Rodgers, Clifford "Bubba" Mora, Lackie Bradberry, Tuffy Molandes, and Marlon Dickson. Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors.
