Joseph H. Rupp, 86, of West Main Street, Shiremanstown, died Thursday afternoon in a hospital at Harrisburg after a short Illness. A member of Slate Hill Mennonite Church, he was a retired carpenter and cabinet maker. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs, William Denehey, Philadelphia; Misa Elizabeth G. Rupp, Hershey; Mrs. W. E. Wister, Wyomissing; Mrs. J. G. Peters, New Brunswick V T and Mrs. .T S Miliar. Hanover; a son, Russel J. Rupp, Philadelphia; a sister. Miss Minnie A. Rupp; seven grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Slate Hill Mennonite Church, with Bishop William Strong officiating, and other ministers of the church assisting, Burial will be in the church .cemetery. Friend3 may call at the funeral home at 322 Hummel Avenue, Lemoyne, tonight after 7 o'clock.
