Jackie Coogan Baldwin passed away August 15, 2010 in Smithville, Mo. He was proud to have been a resident of Avondale, Mo. He was a fireman in North Kansas City while studying to be an electrician and has been part of the IBEW local 124 electrician's union for 50 years. He proudly served our country as a Marine. Jack was an outdoors man who loved gardening, fishing and sharing stories with his neighbors. He had a special love for his children and grandchlldren. Jack was preceded in death by his wife Ruth, who passed away on Mother's Day in 2008, his son Jimmy Baldwin, sister, Joyce, brother Bob and granddaughter Jody. He is survived by his sons, Jackie (Susan), Jerry, (Lynn) Joe (Maria) and Jeff, 13 grandchldren and 25 great grandchildren who will all miss him. A celebration of Jack's life was held on Friday, August 20 with burial to follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens
