Virginia Landry Daigle, 78, a native and resident of Houma, went to be with our Lord on Monday, Oct. 4, 2010.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
She is survived by her loving husband Edward "Bobby" Daigle Jr.; eight children, Stephen Daigle and wife, Faye, Kathy Picou and husband, Ronney, Sue Vestal and husband, Russell, John Daigle and wife, Cherie, Judy Fucich and husband, Mark, Theresa LaRose, Alice Watson and husband, John, and David Daigle and wife, Cyndi; 20 grandchildren, Chad Daigle and wife, Cindy, Scott and Eric Picou, Ryan Vestal and wife, Emily, Stacey Vestal and fiance, Joseph Aguillard, Anna-Cherie, Evan and Alexa Daigle, Sidney Ann and Rachel Fucich, Brian and wife, Katie, Jason and Chelsea LaRose, Brendan, Paul and fiance, Sarah, Christopher, Katie and Patrick Watson, David Wayne II and Luke Daigle; five great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Jake Daigle, Hayes and Taylor Vestal, and Daniella Watson; one sister, Ann Campbell and husband, Matt; and one brother, George "Mooney" Landry Jr. and wife, Barbara.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Malcolm Landry and Judith Waguespack Landry; and two sisters, Jackie Guidroz and Lynn Hillburn.
