Mrs. Mandy Edwards, 98, of Houston passed away Oct. 2, 2010, in Montgomery County. She was born May 25, 1912, in Walker County.

Viewing will be held today at Williams & Sons Funeral Home from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010, at 1 p.m. at Thessalonia Missionary Baptist Church, the Rev. Boyce Johnson will preside. Burial will follow in the Dean Cemetery.

Mrs. Edward is survived by two sisters, Hattie Irving of Huntsville, and Lottie Gilbert of Houston; and a host of other relatives and friends.
