Mrs. Lessie Sadler Foster died at Slocum Wednesday morning, at the family home, and the funeral took place today. Deceased was an aunt of our fellow-townsman, Mr. Tab Sadler, and a sister of Mrs. Zach Day and of Mr. N.F. Sadler.
She was a good woman, and her death is sadly mourned by all who knew her.

Celestia K. (Lessie) Sadler Foster was the youngest child of Capt. William Turner Sadler and Permelia Bennett Sadler. She married Alonzo Clyde (Lon) Foster Sr in Anderson County, Texas on November 4, 1886. Their children were:

*Celestia's burial place is unknown. Her parents are buried at a small cemetery on the homeplace south of Slocum and Celestia inherited the property so it's possible she and her husband are buried there, too, but there are no headstones for them.
