The pain is gone. The agony of sudden sorrow fades into a deathless memory. What need to grieve for him whose gentle heart was ever smiling, who carried sunlight and sweet music in his soul? What need to mourn? He has but gone before to try the way and will return ere darkness falls again upon the field. We hold him hence chained with a love that knows no breaking strength; and since he lives forever in our hearts, how can he wholly die?
