Patricia A. Floyd, 63, Monticello died May 5, 1997 in Kirby Hospital. Funeral services were May 8 at Mackey-Wright Funeral Home with burial in Bement Cemetery.
She was born Nov 22, 1933 in Mattoon, d/o Fred and Lue Floyd Sweeney. She married Richard D. Floyd Sr. on June 21, 1953 in Pocahontas, Arkansas. He survives. Other survivors are sons: Richard D. Jr. of White Heath and Bob of Monticello; brother, Bill Sweeney of Terre Haute IN; sister Joan Bennett, Mattoon; half-sisters: Lulubelle Dudley, St Louis MO and Catherine Robinson, Phoenix AZ; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
