Elmer Albert, age 75, a resident of the Manitou Manor, Manitowoc, died Sunday
evening, July 31, 1994, in Milwaukee, son of the late Henry and Josephine
Hoffmann Albert. He was a veteran of World War II serving with the United States
Navy in the South Pacific. He married the former Eleanor Matte on October 24,
1942, in Milwaukee. She preceded him in death April 27, 1991. Mr. Albert was
employed with the Mirro Corporation of Manitowoc for many years until his
retirement in 1984. He was a member of the Manitowoc Senior Citizens.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Russell and Myra Albert, Cleveland;
one daughter and son-in-law, Ruth and David Stehula, Two Rivers; four grandchildren,
Russell, Joan, Carol and Angie; three great-grandchildren, Stephanie, Brittany and
Michael; one brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Albert, Milwaukee;
sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and a special friend, Inga Mix.
He was also preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
Private Family Graveside Services will be held at a later date at the Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral
arrangements.
